How to read it
Have 2–3 operators each measure the same 10 parts two or three times in random order. Repeatability (EV) is one operator’s scatter on a repeat; Reproducibility (AV) is the gap between operators; Gage R&R combines them. Judge %GRR: <10% acceptable, 10–30% marginal, >30% unacceptable — and aim for ndc ≥ 5. ANOVA also splits out the operator×part interaction; Average & Range is the classic shop-floor method. Fix the gauge before trusting the data in a Capability study.

Hand parts to operators in this randomized, blind run order — operators and parts are shuffled so no one anticipates the next reading. Record each dimension as you go; the Analysis page calculates automatically. Reshuffle to randomize again — readings already entered stay tied to their part, operator & trial. Working from Excel? Paste a block of readings straight into the grid — values fill down the run order from the cell you click.
