General II is the standard level for most incoming inspection. Use Special levels only for destructive or costly tests where a smaller sample is acceptable. Plans shown are for normal inspection — switch to tightened or reduced per your quality agreement once a switching history is established.

How to read this plan
1. Lot size + inspection level give a sample size code letter (Table I).
2. The code letter sets the sample size — the number of units to pull and inspect.
3. Each AQL gives an accept (Ac) and reject (Re) number. Accept the lot if defects ≤ Ac; reject if defects ≥ Re.
When the sample size shifts
↓The standard sends some low‑AQL cells to a larger sample. The plan uses that adjusted size and shows it in the row.
↑Some high‑AQL cells route to a smaller sample — again handled for you.
100%If the required sample meets or exceeds the lot, inspect every unit.
